Venue Rentals

Different rooms for different needs – at one location and at various points in Győr and Mosonmagyaróvár.

At Széchenyi István University, we provide the opportunity to rent auditoriums and halls that can accommodate anywhere from 25 to 400 people, suitable for various events including conferences, small and large group classes, seminars, lectures, or exhibitions.

Our rooms are available for rent with modern computing equipment or without it. The rooms come with various furnishings, technical equipment, projectors, sound systems, and upon request, technical staff is also available. If needed, you can rent a room for computer-based training, workshops and courses.

Óvár Castle – Knight’s Hall

The Knight’s Hall is the largest room in Óvár Castle, serving as a permanent exhibition space. It can accommodate up to 150 people and is an excellent choice for wedding ceremonies, festive dinners, concerts, stage performances, and readings in a historical atmosphere.

Óvár Castle – Museum Pedagogy Workshop

The Museum Pedagogy Workshop is a two-room space in Óvár Castle Visitors’ Centre, accommodating up to 40 people. It serves as an exclusive venue for corporate events, team building activities, various associations or clubs and workshops.

The University’s rooms have various capacities and are suitable for professional events, conferences, lectures, weddings, and balls.

Car Parking Rentals

At Széchenyi István University, we offer car parking rental possibilities on the University premises.

During the summer season, we can provide the following car parks, subject to separate charges and depending on available capacity.

P2

Located on the northern part of the central campus, this car park is connected to the laboratory building and has a capacity of 220 parking spaces, some of which are covered.

P3

This area is located in the central part of the University and is equipped with a barrier and entry control. It serves as a parking zone enclosed by the Study Buildings, the Győr City University Hall, and the Management Campus buildings. In addition to the new buildings, 66 new parking spaces have been added behind the Study Buildings, complementing the existing 80 parking spaces, for a total of 146 spaces.

This is an open parking area on the University premises, without a barrier. Four payment machines are available in this parking zone, which offers a total of 270 parking spaces.

P6

This is a short-term parking area located on the eastern part of the University, near the Post Office. It is accessible from the roundabout at the intersection of the streets Hédervári, Rónay Jácint, and Szövetség. There are 10 parking spaces in this area.
