AUDI HUNGARIA ZRT. – Develeopment Department
The beginnings
In 2020, I began my journey from Ecuador, by receiving the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship to pursue a degree in Vehicle Engineering at Széchenyi István University in Győr, Hungary. This opportunity arose during a challenging period as the world was still navigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these uncertainties, I committed myself to fully leveraging this chance to pursue my longstanding ambition of working at AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt., which runs a car factory and the world’s biggest engine factory in Győr. From the moment I arrived in Hungary, my objective was clear: to secure a position at Audi Hungaria, one of the most prestigious automotive companies in the world. I understood that this path would present considerable challenges, particularly as a foreigner in a highly competitive environment; however, I was prepared to confront these obstacles with persistence and hard work as my guiding principles.
Career path
After completing my studies, I was fortunate enough to be selected for the Audi Development Camp—a prestigious and highly challenging programme designed to identify and nurture the next generation of automotive engineers. The camp was an intense experience, pushing me to my limits and beyond. I had to prove myself among many students not only from Hungary but also from other countries in the field, all while navigating the complexities of a new culture and language. Despite the challenges, I thrived in this environment. My dedication and passion for automotive engineering did not go unnoticed, and by the end of the camp, I was recognized as one of the top performers. This recognition led to an incredible opportunity: a full-time position at AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. in their Development Department.
Results of the hard work and determination
Today, I am proud to be part of the team working on the next generation of vehicle platforms at Audi Hungaria. Being involved in such cutting-edge projects is both exhilarating and fulfilling. Thanks to Széchenyi István University, I have the privilege of working alongside highly experienced professionals from both Hungary and Germany, learning from them every day and contributing to the future of the automotive industry. This journey has been one of the most significant and rewarding experiences of my life. It has taught me the value of resilience, determination, and the importance of seizing every opportunity that comes my way. I am excited about the future and look forward to continuing my work at Audi Hungaria, where I hope to make a lasting impact on the industry and contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable vehicles.
