Development Engineer – AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt.
The beginning
My journey with Széchenyi István University and the city of Gyor commenced in September 2021, when I enrolled in the MSc in Vehicle Engineering program under the framework of a fully funded Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship from India. Reflecting on the period from preparing for the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship to the day of my graduation in February this year, I am amazed by how swiftly time has passed.
This journey has provided me with extensive learning, invaluable experiences, and cherished memories with friends from diverse nationalities.
Master studies
The last three years of my stay in Gyor have been immensely rewarding for the holistic development of my personality. The meticulously designed master’s curriculum, crafted by experts from AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt. and experienced professors, has enabled me to align myself with the current needs of the automotive industry, reflected in my GPA of 4.84/5, which underscores my dedication to academic excellence.
Joining AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt.
During my second year of master’s studies, I had the opportunity to work as a thesis writing student at Audi Hungaria. This experience allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge from the classroom and further develop my skills in the field of model-based systems engineering. Subsequently, upon completing my education, I have started my career as a ‘Development Engineer’ at Audi Hungaria and I’m currently working in the Verification and Validation of Vehicle Functions Team. The learnings from my master’s program at Széchenyi István University have proven to be extremely beneficial in shaping my career as I had envisioned.
Sharing traditions and building connections
Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I have had numerous opportunities to present my culture and traditions to students and professionals from various countries who were previously unfamiliar with them. I participated in and attended various events such as the Stipendium Hungaricum banquet, Hungarian Cultural Night, the UN International Day of Cultural Diversity, and voluntarily helping my fellow international students get oriented with the university and Gyor city. The mandatory course on Hungarian language and culture also helped me integrate well into society and communicate in a foreign language with ease.
This overall experience has been particularly important to me, as it has underscored the significance of diversity in the modern world and fostered an attitude that embraces globalization. As I look ahead, I am eager to continue building on the foundation laid during my time at Széchenyi István University, using the skills and knowledge gained to drive innovation in the automotive industry. I hope to remain an active contributor to the global alumni community, sharing my experiences and supporting future students as they embark on their transformative journeys.
