In professional football, performance optimisation, injury prevention, and rapid, precise diagnostics have become integral to successful club operations. State-of-the-art sports medical solutions, comprehensive rehabilitation systems, and individually tailored load diagnostics collectively ensure that players can take to the pitch in the optimal physical condition – all underpinned by a solid scientific and clinical foundation.
With this approach, ETO FC Győr’s football club has entered into a strategic partnership with the UniMedical Center Healthcare and Diagnostic Centre, operated by Széchenyi István University. As the University’s service company, the UniMedical Center plays a key role in connecting academic and sporting life, making the cooperation between the club and the institution particularly significant.

Under the agreement, the UniMedical Center will support the club’s operations in the future as ETO FC Győr’s priority healthcare partner. The ceremonial signing took place prior to the derby match between ETO FC Győr and Ferencvárosi TC. The UniMedical Center was represented by Managing Director Adrienn Réka Király, while the club was represented by Máté Havas, Director of Club Operations and Academy.
The partnership was not only evident in behind-the-scenes professional work but also appeared in a tangible way for supporters. Before the match, visitors to the UniMedical Center stand in the Fan Zone were able to participate in reaction-time assessments and interactive tasks, gaining insight into the world of modern sports diagnostics.

The primary aim of the cooperation is to provide the senior players and youth talents of the club with the highest level of medical, diagnostic, and rehabilitation support. In addition, particular emphasis is placed on health preservation and the strengthening of health awareness, as well as the prevention of sport-related injuries – not only among players, but also among parents and professional staff.
