FROM THE ASSOCIATION OF TRANSPORT SCIENCES
The Association of Transport Sciences held its annual awards ceremony on 1 February in Budapest, where members of the Association for outstanding performance were presented with awards by János Fónagy, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and President of the Association.
At the event, two staff members of Széchenyi István University were awarded. Dr. Diána Sarolta Henézi, Deputy Dean of Education at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Transport Sciences and senior lecturer at the Department of Transportation, received the Silver Badge of the Association for organizing the first ever Traffic Safety Conference in 2023. Dr. Balázs Horváth, Head of the Department of Transportation, was awarded the Literature Prize for his article „Application of Network Science in Public Transport” published in the journal Transport Science Review.
