At Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University\u2019s Audi Hungaria Faculty of Engineering, 199 students have graduated; 225 have completed their studies at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics; and 208 at the Faculty of Informatics and Electrical Engineering. The University welcomed the new graduates on 19 and 20 February at the Gy\u0151r Municipal University Hall.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Audi Hungaria Faculty of Engineering<\/strong> held its graduation ceremony on 19 February, opened by Dean Professor Dr G\u00e1bor Dogossy. \u201cDuring your years at the University, we have provided you with all the necessary knowledge to enable you to stand your ground in life. The knowledge and experience you have accumulated over many years now await application. Our doors remain open to you, whether you wish to explore a new field or deepen your expertise in your current profession,\u201d<\/em> he said. Dr Csaba T\u00f3th-Nagy, Programme Supervisor, then addressed the international students in English, while M\u00e1rton G\u00e1bor L\u00e9gr\u00e1di and Hasan Rafiul delivered farewell speeches on behalf of the graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following a performance by students of the Gy\u0151r Visual Arts Primary School, Vocational School and Dormitory, Vocational Secondary School and Dormitory, maintained by the University, Dr L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Lendvai, Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Machine Design and Vice-Dean for Internationalisation, received the \u201cLecturer for Students\u201d Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recognition of their roles in student organisations, members of the Arrabona Racing Team \u2013 Dominik Mikl\u00f3s Bir\u00f3, Krist\u00f3f Nagy, Domonkos Ol\u00e1h, \u00c1d\u00e1m Attila \u0150ri, Oliv\u00e9r Pilz and \u00c1d\u00e1m Puchmann (BSc in Vehicle Engineering), \u00c1d\u00e1m Papp and L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Sz\u00f6r\u00e9nyi (MSc in Vehicle Engineering) \u2013 as well as M\u00e1t\u00e9 Boros (MSc in Vehicle Engineering), Kitti Farkas, Dominik Patrik P\u00e1gyor and Kriszti\u00e1n L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Vanya (BSc in Vehicle Engineering), and Zolt\u00e1n Istv\u00e1n P\u00e1ncz\u00e9l (BSc in Mechanical Engineering) from the SZEngine team, and Benedek Botond K\u00e1llay (MSc in Vehicle Engineering) from the SZEnergy Team, received the Pro Progressum Award (certificate of merit). The Pro Progressum Award (diploma of merit) was presented to M\u00e1t\u00e9 J\u00e1hn (SZEngine \u2013 BSc in Mechanical Engineering), D\u00e1vid S\u00e1ndor (SZEnergy \u2013 MSc in Motorsport Engineering), and P\u00e9ter Szendr\u0151 (Arrabona Racing Team \u2013 MSc in Vehicle Engineering).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e9ter Zolt\u00e1n Ladoniczki received the Pro Auditoribus Award (certificate of merit). The Pro Auditoribus Award (diploma of merit) was presented to M\u00e1rton N\u00e9meth, while M\u00e1rton G\u00e1bor L\u00e9gr\u00e1di (all BSc in Mechanical Engineering students) received the bronze grade, and Gerg\u0151 M\u00e1t\u00e9 Szeidl (BSc in Vehicle Engineering) received the silver grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kautz Gyula Faculty of Business and Economics<\/strong> held its graduation ceremony on the same day. In his opening address, Vice-Dean Dr G\u00e1bor Szab\u00f3-Szentgr\u00f3ti emphasised that both the University and the Faculty have undergone significant development in recent years. \u201cWe are proud that our business programmes are ranked in the 600\u2013800 range in the Times Higher Education Business and Economics ranking. We are also proud that the Faculty has joined the international community of AACSB, which represents the highest quality standards in business education worldwide. All this is reinforced by the University\u2019s extensive industrial and international network of partnerships, providing a stable, practice-oriented knowledge base for our students,\u201d<\/em> he highlighted. He added that graduates remain members of the Kautz community, which will always provide them with professional and personal support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Judit Petra Koltai, Vice-Dean, addressed the international students, followed by L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Attila Szab\u00f3, Corporate Client Relationship Director of OTP Bank, who spoke to the graduates. He noted that over the years he has worked with many professionals who graduated from this Faculty. \u201cI can say from experience that a degree from here represents genuine knowledge and a practical mindset. You have received thorough preparation enabling you not merely to endure change, but to shape it,\u201d <\/em>he said. He also mentioned that economic challenges in fact present tremendous opportunities for those who dare to innovate when old methods no longer work and who understand the real weight of sustainability and responsible leadership decisions. \u201cThe diploma you now hold is an entry pass to the leaders of the future. The world needs agile economists with fresh perspectives now more than ever before,\u201d<\/em> he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of the graduates, T\u00edmea K\u00f3cz\u00e1n and Diana Lizeth N\u00faez Aguilar delivered farewell speeches, after which Judit Bilinovics-Sipos received the \u201cLecturer for Students\u201d Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Auditoribus Award (certificate of merit) was presented to \u00c1bel Bal\u00e1zs (BSc in Commerce and Marketing) and Vir\u00e1g Pint\u00e9r (BSc in Business Administration Management). The Pro Auditoribus Award (diploma of merit) was awarded to Tam\u00e1s Benedek Becze (BSc in Tourism and Catering), Tibor Kevin Hanzli and Zsombor T\u00f3th (BSc in Business Administration Management), T\u00edmea K\u00f3cz\u00e1n (BSc in Commerce and Marketing), and Fl\u00f3ra R\u00e9ka Konecsni (Higher Education Vocational Training in Commerce and Marketing).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Informatics and Electrical Engineering<\/strong> held its ceremony on 20 February. In his speech, Dean Dr \u00c1ron Ballagi highlighted that the students\u2019 perseverance and commitment had borne fruit. \u201cBe proud of your achievements! This diploma is not merely a certificate, but proof that you are capable of facing even the highest-level technological challenges,\u201d<\/em> he praised the graduates. He added that they had chosen a vocation that is the engine of the modern world. \u201cThe fields of information technology, electrical engineering and mechatronics are changing day by day \u2013 perhaps even minute by minute. Therefore, I urge you: never stop learning,\u201d<\/em> he advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tam\u00e1s Kurdits, Head of the Technical Academy of E.ON Hung\u00e1ria, welcomed the graduates as colleagues and likewise emphasised the importance of lifelong learning. \u201cMany describe our era as a new industrial revolution; one thing is certain: mindset and technology are undergoing tremendous change. This environment offers exceptional opportunities to achieve success by applying your professional knowledge. Today, it is your profession that shapes our world most profoundly,\u201d<\/em> he stressed. He noted that E.ON has cooperated with the University in dual study programmes since 2019 and has gained many excellent employees through this partnership. \u201cSz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University has chosen an outstanding path by maintaining continuous contact with industry, monitoring the challenges it faces, and aligning its education accordingly,\u201d<\/em> he remarked. Tim\u00e1r Andr\u00e1s, a BSc student in Electrical Engineering, then delivered a farewell speech on behalf of the graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frech M\u00e1ty\u00e1s (BSc in Electrical Engineering) and Botond Sziklai (BSc in Computer Science Engineering), both members of the Arrabona Racing Team, received the Pro Progressum Award (certificate of merit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pro Auditoribus Award (certificate of merit) was presented to D\u00e1vid Tibor Bagoly (BSc in Electrical Engineering). The Pro Auditoribus Award (diploma of merit) was awarded to D\u00e1niel Ruben Frick and Dorina Varga (BSc in Mechatronics Engineering), M\u00e1t\u00e9 Gy\u0151ri (BSc in Computer Science Engineering), R\u00f3bert Milik (BSc in Electrical Engineering), and Orsolya Konyik (BSc in Business Informatics). The bronze grade of the Award was presented to Tam\u00e1s Homoki, and the silver grade to M\u00e1t\u00e9 Bog\u00e1th (BSc in Computer Science Engineering).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the ceremony, Szil\u00e1rd P\u00f3nya and Benedikta R\u00e9dling (BSc in Electrical Engineering), as well as \u00c1goston Kopp\u00e1ny Sz\u0171cs (BSc in Mechatronics Engineering), received certificates of recognition for their outstanding academic, professional and scientific achievements within the SZESAT Interdisciplinary College for Advanced Studies, operated by the Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
