The aim of the meeting was to explore potential directions for educational and research cooperation, with a particular focus on engineering, technology, and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A strategic objective of Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University is to strengthen its research and development activities and global presence through an extensive network of international partnerships. One of the key directions of its internationalization strategy\u2014aligned with Hungary\u2019s economic policy goals\u2014is the expansion of Asian, and particularly Chinese, higher education and research relations. In this spirit, the Gy\u0151r-based institution recently welcomed a delegation from Xuzhou University of Technology for professional consultations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of the programme, the Chinese institution presented its profile and development priorities, which was followed by an overview of Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University\u2019s educational, research and international activities. Among these, she mentioned that Chinese students had participated in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.sze.hu\/students-tackle-sustainability-challenges-at-sze-s-audi-development-camp?ckw=RW1pbGlhIFJvbWFnbmE=\">Audi Development Camp<\/a>\u00a0associated with Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.sze.hu\/sze-and-xuzhou-university-of-technology-signed-a-memorandum-of-understanding?ckw=WmhhbmcgTm9uZw==\">their delegation had already visited the Gy\u0151r campus<\/a>\u00a0last year for professional talks, during which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.\u00a0<em>\u201cThese experiences have confirmed for us that it is worth moving forward, and we see the current meeting as the next step on the path toward future cooperation,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0she said.
