As part of the programme, the delegation\u2014which included Sidonia Morales, Honorary Hungarian Consul of Indiana, and B\u00e9la Kocsy, Agricultural Attach\u00e9 at the Embassy of Hungary in Washington\u2014first visited the University\u2019s Albert K\u00e1zm\u00e9r Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences in Mosonmagyar\u00f3v\u00e1r. Discussions with the Faculty\u2019s leadership focused on agricultural research, sustainability goals, and technological and business-related connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr Zolt\u00e1n Moln\u00e1r, Vice-Dean for International and Scientific Affairs at the Albert K\u00e1zm\u00e9r Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences of Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University, Dr Bal\u00e1zs \u00c1sv\u00e1nyi, Vice-Dean for Corporate Relations, Robert B. Evnen, Secretary of State of Nebraska, Dr Eszter Zs\u00e9dely, Vice-Dean for Education, Dr Tam\u00e1s T\u00f3th, Dean, Dr Attila P\u00e9ter Kiss, Vice-Dean for Innovation, Sidonia Morales, Honorary Hungarian Consul of Indiana, B\u00e9la Kocsy, Agricultural Attach\u00e9 at the Embassy of Hungary in Washington, and Dr L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Amand Palkovics, Professor at the Department of Plant Sciences, stood in front of the \u00d3v\u00e1r Castle, home of the faculty. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur faculty is committed to modern food production, agricultural digitalisation, precision farming, and sustainable development. We believe that these areas not only shape the future of domestic agriculture but can also serve as a foundation for international collaborations that benefit both parties. This meeting provided an opportunity to identify Hungarian\u2013American connections that could lead to joint educational and research projects,<\/em>\u201d emphasised Dr Tam\u00e1s T\u00f3th, Research Professor and Dean of the Faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The delegation visited the Gy\u0151r campus the following day, where they met with Dr \u00c1rp\u00e1d T\u00f3th, Chief Financial Officer of Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University, and P\u00e9ter N\u00e9meth, Head of the HUN-REN International Centre of Excellence. Discussions focused on international research collaborations, the promotion of student and staff mobility, and the technological infrastructure provided by the Gy\u0151r Innovation Park. As part of the programme, the Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University MedTech Campus was also introduced. This campus places emphasis on education and healthcare services alongside health technology research.
