The international programme organised by Bosch and Saxion University provided participants with not only professional knowledge but also lifelong experiences.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students from Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University took part in the international educational programme titled \u201cInnovation for Industrial Sustainability in an International Environment\u201d with the support of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/admissions.sze.hu\/pannonia-scholarship-programme-sze-students-explore-innovative-technologies-in-czechia\">Pannonia Scholarship Programme<\/a>. The event, recently held in Enschede, the Netherlands, was jointly organised by Saxion University and Bosch, and brought together students from five higher education institutions across four countries to collaborate on the topic of sustainable industrial innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cThe online phase of the programme began as early as March, with students attending weekly evening professional lectures and starting their international teamwork. The challenges posed by engineers from Bosch\u2019s Deventer centre \u2013 such as the future of hydrogen boilers, sustainable packaging, carbon emission targets, the political implications of the energy transition, and the presence of Legionella bacteria in drinking water \u2013 were all exciting and highly relevant issues for the students to tackle,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;explained Dr Eszter S\u00f3s, Associate Professor at Sz\u00e9chenyi University\u2019s Department of Logistics and Transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme included a five-day trip to the Netherlands, during which students visited Bosch\u2019s factory in Deventer. There, they were introduced to, among other things, a new conversion kit that could potentially enable existing boilers in UK households to operate on hydrogen, thereby contributing to climate protection goals.
