A milestone for Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University and its Digital Development Centre is the agreement the institution recently signed with the Korea Testing Laboratory. The partnership opens up new perspectives in the field of joint research and development and innovation projects, and may also contribute to technological developments in Hungary and Korea.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) is one of the largest testing and certification laboratories in South Korea. A four-member delegation of the organisation – Director General Jun Kwang Song, Director Jeonghyun Cho, Team Leader Bongseok Kang and Professor Sungtaick Lee of Inha University – recently visited Hungary to sign a cooperation agreement with Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University and its Digital Development Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first venue for the talks was the ZalaZone in Zalaegerszeg, where ZalaZone Innotech Kft., a member of the Sz\u00e9chenyi University Group, and the university’s staff presented the potential of the automotive test track infrastructure and the institution’s Zalaegerszeg Innovation Park. Guests were also able to learn about the activities of Rheinmetall Hungary Ltd. The delegation was received in Gy\u0151r by Dr Eszter Luk\u00e1cs, Vice-President for International Affairs and Strategic Relations, who signed the cooperation agreement together with Jun Kwang Song.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis partnership is extremely beneficial for our institution, our students and the regional economy, strengthening knowledge sharing and building global innovation networks. The agreement opens up new perspectives for joint research and development projects and can contribute to technological development in Hungary and Korea. In the case of drones, it is very important to test the electronic systems, flight, flow and weather tests to ensure the safe operation of the device.
