The temporary exhibition called Herend Overture was opened with a festive ceremony in the \u00d3v\u00e1r Castle which is the centre of the Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University’s Albert K\u00e1zm\u00e9r Faculty of Mosonmagyarov\u00e1r. The impressive exhibition is open to visitors until 30 April.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The faculty of the Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University in Mosonmagyar\u00f3v\u00e1r awaits porcelain admirers with a special exhibition, where the masterpieces of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory will be on display for two months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibited works include both traditional designs and their recent versions. For example, the renewed version of the Victoria design from the 1851 London World’s Fair, called Royal Garden which was the official wedding gift of Hungary to the British Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Princess Catherine, in 2011. The opening of the exhibition was held on 29 February and was attended by representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Hungary, including Deputy Head of Mission Junko Sato and Head of the Cultural Division Ozaki Takesi.<\/p>\n\n\n
