Az \u00fcnnep\u00e9lyes avat\u00f3ra csak 1987 tavasz\u00e1n ker\u00fclt sor. Az alkot\u00e1sr\u00f3l \u00e9rdemes tudni, hogy az m\u00e1solat. Az eredeti \u2013 elveszett \u2013 szobor alkot\u00f3ja Dunaiszky L\u00e1szl\u00f3 szobr\u00e1szm\u0171v\u00e9sz volt, m\u0171ve pedig 1866-ban a Sz\u00e9chenyi szoborp\u00e1ly\u00e1zatra k\u00e9sz\u00fclt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Az egyetemi parkban l\u00e1that\u00f3 szobrot 1987-ben a Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n n\u00e9v felv\u00e9tele alkalm\u00e1b\u00f3l \u00fcnnep\u00e9lyes keretek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt avatt\u00e1k fel. 2000-ben azonban \u00fajra kellett avatni az alkot\u00e1st, mert ismeretlen vand\u00e1lok led\u00f6nt\u00f6tt\u00e9k azt. Az akkori G\u00e1bor L\u00e1szl\u00f3 M\u0171helyiskola oktat\u00f3i \u00e9s di\u00e1kjai, a k\u00e9t int\u00e9zm\u00e9ny k\u00f6z\u00f6tti kiv\u00e1l\u00f3 kapcsolatnak k\u00f6sz\u00f6nhet\u0151en azonnal megkezdt\u00e9k a szobor helyre\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1s\u00e1t, biztos\u00edtva, hogy t\u00f6bb hasonl\u00f3 \u201ebaleset\u201d ne t\u00f6rt\u00e9nhessen. J\u00f3 munk\u00e1t v\u00e9geztek, hiszen az\u00f3ta is jelk\u00e9pe a n\u00e9vad\u00e1snak \u00e9s\u00a0 a Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n Egyetemnek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

36 years ago, at the end of 1986, at the park of the legal predecessor, the Transportation and Telecommunication Faculty of Technical Sciences, the bronze-made bust of Istv\u00e1n Sz\u00e9chenyi was placed. The ceremonial opening was organized only in the spring of 1987. It is interesting to know, that the sculpture is a replica. The original \u2013 lost \u2013 statue\u2019s creator was sculptor L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Dunaiszky, his work of art has been made for the Sz\u00e9chenyi sculpture competition in 1866.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The statue, which can be seen in the park of the university, was ceremonially inaugurated in 1987, with the admission of the name Istv\u00e1n Sz\u00e9chenyi. In 2000, they had to inaugurate the sculpture yet again, because unknown vandals knocked it down. The teachers and students of the then called L\u00e1szl\u00f3 G\u00e1bor workshop school, as a result of the excellent relationship between the two institutions, immediately started to repair the sculpture, making sure to prevent future \u201eincidents\u201d like this. They did a stunning job, since it is the symbol of the name admission and the Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University.<\/p>\n\n\n
