The German iF Design Student Award is one of the most prestigious international competitions for emerging designers. The jury assesses not only the quality of the design, but also how innovatively each project responds to social, environmental or cultural challenges. This year\u2019s competition attracted around 7,000 entries, of which 90 received recognition. Colorolli, developed by Anna S\u00e1ra Gy\u00f6rgy, a master\u2019s student in design at Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University, was selected among the top seven projects in the Best of the Year category. In addition, it received the HOTO Design Prize by iF special award, presented to only three projects worldwide this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Colorolli was selected among the seven best entries in the iF Design Student Award 2026. (Photo: Anna S\u00e1ra Gy\u00f6rgy)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n When asked about her project, the young designer explained that she had begun working on it as her bachelor\u2019s degree thesis, inspired by several years of experience working at children\u2019s camps. For years, she led arts and crafts activities at the Erzs\u00e9bet Camp in Z\u00e1nka and later visited several special education and conductive education institutions, where she saw first-hand that conventional drawing and painting tools are not equally accessible to all children. In response, she created Colorolli, an inclusive range of creative tools designed to make visual self-expression easier for children with different motor abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Colorolli product family consists of tools that accommodate different grips and enable children to create freely and enjoyably. It confirms that it is worth continuing to develop the project. We are currently testing the tools in several special education institutions, kindergartens and rehabilitation centres, while also seeking partners who could help make the product more widely available in the future,\u201d <\/em>said Anna S\u00e1ra Gy\u00f6rgy.
