Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University will present its educational, research, development and innovation activities at this year\u2019s Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix. Thanks to its strategic partnership with Hungaroring Sport Plc., the University will be the only Hungarian university exhibiting independently at one of the world\u2019s most prestigious motorsport events.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a strategic partner of Hungaroring Sport Plc., Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University debuted its own stand at the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix last year. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the University\u2019s innovative motorsport and automotive initiatives in the Fan Zone. As part of the ongoing collaboration, motorsport enthusiasts will once again have the opportunity to meet representatives of the University at this year\u2019s Grand Prix, taking place between 23 and 26 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors will be able to learn more about the University\u2019s internationally successful student competition teams, including the Arrabona Racing Team and the SZEnergy Team, the latter of which recently won Europe\u2019s largest energy-efficiency competition for the fifth time<\/a>, once again setting a world record. They will also have the opportunity to try a racing simulator and gain insight into the University\u2019s related degree programmes, research projects and development activities. The exhibition will highlight the extensive knowledge base and innovation ecosystem that underpin Sz\u00e9chenyi Istv\u00e1n University\u2019s position as one of Hungary\u2019s leading institutions in technical higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
